For the price, this jacket is fantastic. I ordered a medium because I am 5'9" and 163 lbs. Although it fits a touch snugly, that is how it is intended to. Choose the big if you are 5'9" and have long arms.

For my son's middle school play of Grease, we purchased this. We got Adult Medium for a boy who is 5'3" and 150 lbs, and it fits perfectly. He wants to constantly wear it. Value for the money is good.

I usually wear a small in American sizes, but whenever I get clothing from China or Japan (which is pretty regularly), going up a size is always ideal. Has only two functional pockets, but I don't mind because I like all the zippers. Purchase this jacket if you are thinking about it. It's reasonably priced and precisely as shown in the picture, which is not usually the case.
